April 2, 2020 - The Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) gives small business owners who keep employees on their payroll during the COVID-19 crisis the opportunity to receive forgivable loans (up to $10 million) to cover 8 weeks of payroll and other expenses.

MARK THESE DATES ON YOUR CALENDAR:
April 3: small businesses and sol proprietorships can apply
April 10: independent contractors and self-employed individuals can apply
June 30: applications and all supporting documentation are due to an approved lender

Funds are limited, so Kansas businesses should make every effort to apply early! Details about the PPP, including terms, preferred lenders and how to apply can be found online here.
