Municipal Court
The Municipal Court is the judiciary branch of Mission City Government, and is where traffic tickets and violation of City ordinances are judged and fines levied.

Ticket Payment
Payments for traffic tickets not requiring a mandatory court appearance can be made in the following ways: 
Police Department Entrance and After Hours Payment Drop Box
Online: Tickets may be paid online for a nominal fee. Pay Tickets Online
Please Note:  It is recommended that you use a desktop computer when paying your ticket online. If using a mobile device, you may see a blank screen instead of the confirmation page. Should this occur, please contact the court (913-676-8325) to verify that your payment has been received prior to attempting to pay again.

In Person: Any time during business hours (8 a.m.-5 p.m.) to the Municipal Court Clerk at the Mission Police Department. The department is located at the north end of City Hall, through the door marked "Police Department" (pictured).

After Hours: At the drop box located outside the Police Department (pictured).

By Mail:

The Municipal Court accepts cash, personal checks made payable to the City of Mission, money orders, cashier checks, and major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, and Discover).

Traffic Ticket Amendments:  Court Clerks may process requests for traffic ticket amendments or reduced fines in certain limited cases. City of Mission Amendment Policy

Victim's Rights
The Victim's Bill of Rights provides information on certain basic rights and considerations for victims of crime. If you are a victim of a crime and have questions or concerns regarding a pending case in Mission Municipal Court, please contact court staff at 913-676-8325.
