A Lovely Tea Party

A lovely tea party includes excellent company, great conversation, delicious tea and scrumptious sandwiches. Check - we’ve got it all covered! We’re headed to Anna Marie’s Tea House for a yummy start to the day. Next, check out the great shops on Liberty’s square.

KC Street Car: Union Station to City Market

Wednesday, June 19, $82/person

Start the day at beautiful Union Station for an amazing lunch at Pierpont’s (lunch included). We’ll hop on the streetcar for a ride down to River Market, where we will tour the Steamboat Arabia and have plenty of time for shopping at City Market. The streetcar will take us back to Union Station and we’ll be on the way back home before the traffic gets too bad!

Pioneer Woman

Tuesday, July 16, $113/person

Head south with us to Pawhuska, OK to visit “The Merc;” Ree Drummond’s famous restaurant. We will eat an amazing lunch at the Mercantile followed by a tour of the town via antique shops, stores and boutiques on the square. Depending on Lodge Tour schedule (which doesn’t come out until a few months prior), we will go and visit where Pioneer Woman is filmed! PLEASE NOTE: WE WILL ONLY DEPART AND RETURN FROM THE LENEXA SENIOR CENTER DUE TO THE LONG DRIVE

Butterflies, Bees & Blooms

Friday, August 9, $60/person

Let’s enjoy a fun day together and learn about bees at the Messner Bee Farm, and how they are essential to our daily lives.  We will also visit Powell Gardens for the Festival of Butterflies.  Lunch will be on our own in the Downtown Lee’s Summit area, and last, we will have some shopping time at Cockrell shops. Kansas Crossing Casino

Show Me State Capitol Tour

The Show Me State Capital has a ton of FUN things to do! We’re going this Fall to check out the Missouri capital, the Governor’s Mansion and the Missouri State Penn.
